Prevent a change order from leaving its work state unless its item and file records are in selected lifecycle states.
These files and items must be listed in the Records tab of the change order, and not the Files tab.
- In the Vault Client, click Tools Administration Vault Settings.
- In the Vault Settings dialog box, select the Change Orders tab.
- Click Configure next to Restrict Change Orders from moving out of 'Work' state based on File and Item Lifecycle states.
- Select the lifecycle states that an item or file cannot be in for the change order to move out of a work state.
- Click Close.
- Select whether you want these settings to apply to Items, Files, or Both.
- Click OK to save your changes.
