Attach Properties to an Item

Attach properties to new or existing items.

    • Perform one of the following tasks:

    • To attach a property to an existing item–Right-click the item in the Item Master and select Open.

      In the Item Record, click Edit on the tool bar.

    • To attach a property to a new item–Select the Item Master view and click New on the toolbar.
  1. Select the General tab.
  2. In the Properties section, right-click and select Modify Attached Properties.
  3. The Modify Attached Properties dialog box displays the list of properties that can either be attached to the item or removed from the item. Properties attached to the item are indicated with a check mark. Administrators can create new user-defined properties that can be attached to the item.
    • Select a property from the list and then click Add.
    • To remove a property attached to the item, select the property from the list and then click Remove.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Slick Save on the Item record toolbar to save your changes.
