Boundary Conditions: Outlet
In this step we assign an ambient pressure boundary condition to the outlet slot.
1. Left click on the outlet surface.
2. Click Edit from the Boundary Conditions context panel:
3. On the Type row, select Pressure.
4. Leave the Unit as Pa and the Pressure value = 0.
5. Click Apply.
What it should look like...
6. To verify that the pressure boundary condition is properly assigned to the outlet, check the Design Study Bar and the colored stripe on the outlet surface:
- a. On the Design Study bar, confirm the value for the condition on the outlet surface.
- b. The stripe on the outlet face should correspond to the boundary conditions type in the legend.
