To Create a Point Style

Use the Settings tree to create a point style.

A point style specifies the symbol that displays at the X Y location for the point in the drawing. The style can also specify scaling for the symbol and its appearance in 3D views.

  1. In Toolspace, on the Settings tab, right-click the Point Styles collection New.
  2. In the Point Style dialog box, click the Information tab. Enter a name and description for the point style.
  3. To define the symbol used to display the point, click the Marker tab. Specify the symbol type and options for size, scaling, and rotation.
  4. To define how the point displays in 3D views, click the 3D Geometry tab. Specify the 3D Geometry settings.
  5. To define the display properties for the point style, click the Display tab. Specify the display properties for the symbol.
  6. To view summary information about the style, click the Summary tab.
  7. Click OK.
