To Create a Point Style Based on an Existing Point Style

Use the Settings tree to create a point style based on an existing point style.

Create a point style from an existing point style by copying an existing point style and then editing the copy.

1. In Toolspace, on the Settings tab, right-click the point style you want to copy. Click Copy.

   A copy is created and its properties are displayed in the Point Style dialog box.

2. In the Point Style dialog box, click the Information tab. Enter a name and description for the new point style.
3. Use the tabs in the Point Style dialog box to modify the point style’s properties.
