Tolerance Settings Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to specify additional stations for tolerances when creating vertexes along the rail lines.

The tolerance entered in the Rail Lines dialog box is applied and you can use the Tolerance Settings dialog box to add additional vertexes that are based on existing sample line stations or you can manually specify stations.

Vertexes are created for all cant, horizontal and vertical critical geometry points, user defined points and sample line stations defined along the alignment. This guarantees that critical points on the alignment are always accurate.

Horizontal Alignment

Specifies how incremental vertexes are added along the rail lines in relation to the parent rail alignment.

At Sample Line Stations
Creates vertexes on the rail line that correspond to existing sample lines along the parent alignment. Click in the Value field and specify the sample line group to use.

Options for Adding and Deleting Stations

Creates vertexes on the rail line that correspond to manually specified stations along the parent alignment. The list of stations is listed at the bottom of the dialog box. Click to add a station. To delete stations, select them from the list and click .
