Labels Command Reference

The following table lists label commands and system variables and briefly describes their functionality. For more information about a command, follow the link in the Description column.

Command	Description
AddLabels	Adds labels with the Add Labels dialog box
AddNoteLabel	Adds a note label
AddSegmentLabel	Adds line, arc and polyline segment labels
AeccLabelOptimize	Hides or displays labels in certain label groups that are outside of the viewport
AeccLabelOptFlags	This system variable has the following settings: 1: Redraws the labels if needed when the view is panned or zoomed. 2: Reduces the number of labels that are drawn inside the viewport by turning on the label level of detail setting. 0: Neither of above two settings are turned on. 3: Both the above two settings are turned on.
AeccViewportOpt	Hides or displays labels outside current view. For Paperspace only.
FlipLabel	Flips label components
HideLabelOverrideGlyphs	Hides label override symbols and tooltips
LabelDlgGeneralNote	Inserts a label that is not attached to an object
LabelReset	Returns a dragged label to its original position
LabelReverseBearing	Reverses label direction components
LabelStyleEdit	Edits object label styles
LabelTogglePin	Pins a dragged label to its current location
ShowLabelOverrideGlyphs	Shows label override symbols and tooltips
ToggleLabelVisibility	Hides or displays all labels in a drawing
