To Change Junction Creation Settings

Before creating a junction, you may want to specify the default frequency for inserting assemblies along straights, curves, or transitions. You may also want to set default parameters for corner radius, widening, or corner radius profiles.

  1. Do one of the following:
    • To edit settings for all junction-related commands: In Toolspace, on the Settings tab, right-click the Junction collection. Click Edit Feature Settings.
    • To edit settings for a specific command: In Toolspace, on the Settings tab, expand the Junction collection. Expand the Commands collection. Right-click the name of the command and click Edit Command Settings. For example, right-click the CreateJunction command and click Edit Command Settings.

  2. To specify defaults for junction creation, right-click the CreateJunction command and click Edit Command Settings. For example, to edit default frequencies for inserting assemblies along straights, curves, and transitions, expand Assembly Insertion Defaults.
  3. To edit the default naming format for junction data, expand the Default Name Format property group. Edit the various name template settings.
  4. Click Apply.
