Offset Parameters Tab (Profile Properties Dialog Box)

This tab is available for dynamic offset profiles that are created during the process of creating alignment offsets or junctions.

Note: To switch an offset profile between dynamic and static states, use the Profile Data tab. If an offset profile is static, then the Offset Parameters tab is not displayed for that profile. However, any crossfall regions you may have created when the offset profile was dynamic are preserved.

Crossfall Regions

The crossfall value that was assigned when the offset profile was created is shown in the first row. This row cannot be deleted, but you can edit the value by clicking in the Value field.

Add Crossfall Region
Adds crossfall regions.

When you click this button the dialog box is temporarily dismissed and you are prompted to select a chainage along the parent alignment baseline.

Click to select the chainage or enter a value at the command line.

You are then prompted to enter the value for the crossfall. Enter a negative crossfall by using a minus (-) sign.

You can continue to select new chainages and define crossfalls, or press Enter to complete the selection and redisplay the Profile Properties dialog box.

Delete Crossfall Region
Deletes the selected crossfall regions. The first region, which starts at the beginning chainage of the profile, cannot be deleted.
