When placing a steel connection between elements that are inside an analytical node, you are able to import the force and moment values inside the Joint Design dialog and run the calculus using those values.
In order to do this you need to check the Use load cases box. Pressing the Forces button will display a dialog containing all the force and moment cases transferred from the analytical node.
The Node Properties button opens the node properties dialog.
