Use this procedure to move a project with all its associated files to a different file location.
When you move a project, all internal paths between the project files are automatically updated, so that all relationships between drawings are kept current.
Danger: When you repath a project that was saved in a version of
AutoCAD Architecture prior to 2010, the drawings are saved in the new file format. You will no longer be able to open these drawings in a version of
AutoCAD Architecture prior to 2010. Synchronizing a project with the project standards will also save the project drawings in the new file format.
Note: Do not use File Explorer to move a project file to a different location. This might result in inconsistent project data.
- Verify that the project is closed.

The project and all its files and folders are moved to the new location.
