FAQ: Why can't I see newly added objects in the section result?

If you are using a legacy drawing, which has not been last (or most recently) saved in AutoCAD Architecture 2016, all new objects are automatically excluded from the section result.

To view the new objects in your section result, do one of the following:

• Refresh the section result before adding any new objects
• Open the drawing in AutoCAD Architecture 2016 and save it before adding new objects

If you are still unable to see the objects in the section result, enter 2DSECTIONRESULTUPDATE at the command prompt, and in the Generate Section dialog box, ensure that the newly added objects are included for display in the section result.
