Edit a section result to update the model.
Use the section result of an area of the model to make precise changes to that area of the model.
- Draw a section line of the area of the building model you need to edit and place the section result.
- Select the section result and click 2D Section/Elevation
Modify Edit Live Section.
- Edit the geometry in the section result as needed. Nested external references (xrefs) and blocks can also be edited. Save the changes made in the xrefs when prompted. Saving the changes reloads the xref and you can view your changes you have made.
Note: Ensure that xref or block you are editing is not checked out. Your changes will not be saved if the xref or block is checked out.
- Close the Edit in View button.
The edits made are reflected in the building model.
