Determine the cause of some of the common electromechanical problems that you may encounter in your project and apply the recommended solution to resolve the issue.
The following table lists some of the common problems you may encounter when working with electromechanical project.
Problem or Error | Possible Cause or Solution |

Sync might not function properly when two machines have different time set up (AutoCAD Electrical toolset and Autodesk Inventor), although both the machines are in the same time zone. | Change the time on one of the machines to match the time of the other machine. The Sync checks the time stamp to get the latest update for the peer product—if the two machines have different time set up, the time stamp in the electromechanical file will be a problem as it uses the operating system's time to create the time stamp and may cause the Sync to work incorrectly. |
The following table lists some of the common problems you may encounter when working with electromechanical project and Autodesk Vault.
Problem or Error | Possible Cause or Solution |

You may encounter error when trying to sync and check in your electromechanical data in to Autodesk Vault. | Electromechanical Sync failed because the electromechanical file is checked out by another user. Contact the user to check-in the file and try to sync again. |
The following table lists some of the common problems you may encounter when reusing an electromechanical project.

Electromechanical component linking might be broken when you rename some of the drawing files, while executing the AECOPYPROJECT command. | You should not rename the drawing files when you are executing the AECOPYPROJECT command. You can rename the drawing files after the copy operation in your Project Manager. |
