Change layer visibility by turning layers on or off, freezing or thawing layers, or by isolating specific layers.
Turn Layers On or Off
- Click

- Select the layers you want to turn on or off.
- Click the icon in the Visibility () column to set the status of the selected layers.

Note: You can turn individual layers on or off using the Properties Inspector.
Freeze or Thaw Layers
When working with drawings with lots of layers, freezing unneeded layers can speed up display and regeneration. For example, objects on a frozen layer are not considered during a ZOOM EXTENTS.
- Click

- Select the layers you want to freeze or thaw.
- Click in the Freeze column to set the status of the selected layers. The icon becomes visible when you mouse over the area.

blank = thawed
Note: You can freeze or thaw individual layers using the Properties Inspector. When thawing layers, the drawing is regenerated.
Display Selected Layers While Turning Off All Other Layers

- Select objects on each layer that you want to
isolate, and press Enter. All other layers are turned off.
Note: To reverse this operation, use Unisolate Layer.
