Use this dialog box to add a dynamic reference to the survey points and figures that meet the conditions of one specified survey query to a surface.
Survey points and figures that are added to a surface using this dialog box are dynamically referenced to the survey database. The points and figures are not inserted into the current drawing. To insert the survey points and figures as static objects into the drawing and add them to the surface, see To Add Survey Query Results to a Surface as Static Points and Figures.
- Survey Query to be Used as Dynamic Reference
- Specifies the survey query to reference. This list displays all survey queries that are in the currently open survey database. Click
to open the Survey Query dialog box, where you can modify the survey query conditions. - Add Only These Parts of the Query
- Specifies whether to create a reference to either survey points, survey figures, or both.
- Description
- Specifies an optional description of the survey query reference.
- Mid-Ordinate Distance

Specifies the mid-ordinate distance for figures. Enter a value or click
to digitize the mid-ordinate distance in the drawing. Note: This control is available only when Figure Results is selected under Add Only These Parts of the Query.
