To job-enable an enterprise industry model

1. In Infrastructure Administrator, connect to an Oracle-based enterprise industry model.
2. In the tree structure, select the industry model node.
3. Click Industry Model menu > Settings.
4. On the navigation pane, click Jobs.
5. On the right pane, select Enable Jobs (Versioning) For This Industry Model.
6. To prevent multiple client sessions from selecting the same job, select "Lock" jobs - do not allow more than one user to work on the same job at the same time.
7. Under Feature Locking Type, select the locking type. See also Set Enterprise Industry Model Job Options.

   You cannot change this setting later.

8. Optionally, assign the perimeter feature classes. See Assigning a Job Perimeter.
9. Click Save.
10. Optionally, optimize the database when prompted.
