Tutorial review

In this tutorial, you have learned how to specify analysis parameters by using Geometry, Gate Location and Molding Window analyses to find optimal analysis parameters.

You have completed the following tasks:

  1. Created a new study, imported a model and oriented the part within the mold.
  2. Used the Design Adviser to check suitability and complexity of the model.
  3. Used the Gate Location analysis to determine an appropriate position and set the gate location.
  4. Used the Molding Window analysis to investigate how the choice of gate location, material and processing conditions affect the final product.
  5. Defined the parting plane and renamed the study.
