Use the Required Reinforcement Software Development Kit (SDK) to add your own analysis design codes to Robot Structural Analysis (RSA).
The current version of the SDK has been redesigned to simplify the process of tailoring the product capabilities and to also support you with basic software development skills. It is now easier to create and utilize the additional design codes in RSA, adapted to local design practices or company standards, whether you are a programming engineer, a community, or an engineering firm.
In the updated version of the SDK, you can focus more on creating design code algorithms, while the integration with Robot Structural Analysis is supported by the framework.
The refined Required Reinforcement SDK represents an easier entry point into your journey with customized design codes for Robot, having the same user experience as provided by the design codes embedded in the software.
Additionally:
- The updated SDK documentation describes in more detail, the idea and the advantages of the hidden RSA communication layer. The manuals include recommended Visual Studio setup configuration and the description of the framework concept.
- Added an entirely new package of design code implementation samples using the SDK. The examples were created based on the EN 1992-1-1 design code and could become a good reference point for developers implementing design codes similar to or based on Eurocodes.
- New examples and their tutorials include design and engineering logic description with references to the working software code (see the image above). The manuals also include analytically solved verification example inc. rtd files.
- All the new examples, implemented under an Open-Source license, are enabled to reuse the code included in the EN 1992-1-1 implementation samples.
- On the execution side of RSA, improvements were made for the customized design code analysis behavior, which prevents RSA to freeze in case the software code is incomplete or corrupted.
