Edit Camera Positions and Views for a Walkthrough

When revising a walkthrough, edit the camera positions and adjust the camera field of view for each key frame.

  1. Open the walkthrough and set up views. The walkthrough can be viewed by right clicking the walkthrough name in the Project Browser and selecting Show Camera.
  2. To edit camera positions and views, refer to the following table.
    If you want to... Then...

    change the position and far clip plane of a camera at a selected key frame

    in the Controls drop-down list on the Options Bar, select Active Camera.

    Drag the camera along the path to the frame or key frame to adjust. The camera snaps to key frames. You can also type the frame number in the Frame text box on the Options Bar.

    While the camera is active and located at a key frame, you can drag the control for the target point of the camera and the far clip plane to change the camera view and depth of field. If the camera is not at a key frame, you can change only the far clip plane.

    have finer control of the camera position or path position

    add a key frame (camera position) to the path. In the Controls drop-down list on the Options Bar, select Add Key Frame.

    remove a key frame (camera position) from the path

    in the Controls drop-down on the Options bar, select Remove Key Frame.

    Place the cursor on an existing key frame on the path, and click to remove it.
