Use the Fly mode in the Navigation bar to fly through a perspective view of a model.

Click the Fly button in the
navigation bar to enable this feature. Alternatively, you can hold down the right mouse button and drag to enter the view.
You can also create a
keyboard shortcut in
Revit LTOptions
UI called Fly Mode.
Note: Standard keyboard shortcuts are suspended while flying.
Hold down the right mouse button and drag the mouse to look around. Navigate through the model by using the following keyboard keys and a mouse.
- Arrow Keys or W (forward), A (left), S (Back), and D (right) - Hold down the right button and drag the mouse to look around while using the four arrow keys or the W (forward), A (left), S (Back), and D (right) to move through the model.
- E (Up), Q (down) - Move up and down in the view. You can also use the Page Up and Page Down keys to move up and down.
- Shift + mouse wheel - Control your speed while moving through the view. Alternatively, use the
,
(comma key) and
. (period key) to speed up or slow down. The current speed is reported in the
status bar.
- Esc or select a new command - Exit Fly mode. You also can click the Fly Mode icon on the Navigation bar to exit. If you are using the hold and right-click shortcut, just release the right mouse button.
