Orient the Model with the ViewCube
The ViewCube is a convenient way to quickly change the orientation of your model. It is a more precise way to navigate than the mouse and Orbit tools because of its pre-set orientations.
There are several ways to reorient the model view with the ViewCube:
- Click any of the pre-defined views on the ViewCube. Every face, edge, and corner corresponds to a unique model orientation.
- Click the ViewCube and drag to freely change the view angle of the model.
- Define and restore the Home view.
The ViewCube provides 26 pre-defined views for changing the current view of a model. These are categorized into three groups: faces, corners, and edges.
- To orient the model to a standard orthogonal view, click any of the six faces.
- To orient the model to a half view, click one of the ViewCube edges.
- to orient the model to a three-quarter view, click one of the ViewCube corners.
