Summary: Limit the bubble size computed by the cavitation model.
Flag
cavitation_value_check A
A = bubble volume that causes a warning to be issued when solving for cavitation
Default is 0.1%
Description
This flag limits the size of the bubble (density discontinuity) that is allowed by the cavitation solver. Bubbles that are too large may cause numerical instability due to excessive variation of density.
In general, the cavitation model is better suited for small regions of bubble formation. This flag causes the solver to issue a warning when the bubble size exceeds the prescribed limiting value.
To allow larger bubbles, specify a larger value. Note that this may lead to solution instability.
