Results > Image

Use the controls in Results > Image to share results for design review, collaboration, and results presentations.

Summary Image

Use Summary Images to compare results from multiple scenarios using the Design Review Center. Summary Images automatically apply the same view configuration (orientation, result quantity, visualization features, etc.) to all selected scenarios in the Design Study.

Dynamic Image

Dynamic Images are a powerful way to examine and share results data. Unlike traditional images (such as ".gif" and ".bmp"), Dynamic Images can be navigated and animated.

View Dynamic Images in the Autodesk® CFD Viewer, a communication tool for collaboration across engineering workgroups.

Static Image

To save an image of the current view, click Static Image.

Select the image type from the list of available formats: gif, tif, bmp, and jpg.

Set Resolution

To set the resolution for saved static images and animation files, click the drop-down arrow for Static Image and select Set Resolution.

Choose to use the default Screen resolution or define your own Custom values.

Animation

Use the Animation dialog to animate saved iterations or time-steps.

To open the Animation dialog

Right click off the model, and select Animation..., or
Click Results > Image > Animation.

To animate results sets

To select steps, click on them from the list.
Click the Animate button.
Use the "VCR" controls to control the animation.
To finish animating, click the Reset button.

To save an animation

Select Save avi... to export an AVI animated file.

Note: Click Results > Image > Static Image > Set Resolution to set the resolution for the AVI file.
