Description
Staged forced convection automates the two-step process of running forced convection (flow-only convergence followed by thermal-only.) This approach is valid because fluid properties are not temperature-dependent in forced convection heat transfer.
When Staged Forced Convection is enabled, the flow analysis is automatically followed by 250 thermal-only iterations.
Enable this flag, and specify greater than 250 to run additional thermal-only iterations. Note that the analysis stops either when the number of iterations have elapsed or when Intelligent Convergence Assessment detects the thermal solution is converged, whichever comes first.
