Local Solve tab

The Local Solve tab of the Preferences dialog box contains the following options. You can use these items to control the behavior of locally-run jobs.

Options	Explanation
Minimum free disk space (%) Default = 10	When the amount of available disk space falls below this value, the Simulation Compute Manager issues a warning to let you know that your disk is nearly full.
Block sleep mode during file transfers Enabled by default.	This prevents the operating system from going into sleep mode while jobs are running on the local computer.
Temporary folder Default: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Simulation Compute Manager	The directory that the Job Manager uses to store temporary files. Important: The path length to this folder must be 60 characters or less.

Minimum free disk space (%)

Default = 10

When the amount of available disk space falls below this value, the Simulation Compute Manager issues a warning to let you know that your disk is nearly full.

Enabled by default.

This prevents the operating system from going into sleep mode while jobs are running on the local computer.

Temporary folder

Default: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Simulation Compute Manager

The directory that the Job Manager uses to store temporary files.

Important: The path length to this folder must be 60 characters or less.
