The option is used to define additional code parameters determining displacement values (limit displacements). It is available after pressing the Service button in the Member Definition - Parameters dialog box.
The user may define limit displacements (member deflections in directions X and Y, node displacements in directions X and Y) and additionally, when defining member limit deflections, the user may determine, if the member is a cantilever. In the bottom part of the dialog box parameters of members with camber may be defined:
- if the option Displacement control with camber considered is turned on, then a camber value will be taken into account during member verification/design.
- a camber value may be specified in two ways: providing the camber value in the User-defined camber field or adopting the camber value calculated by the program based on the dead loads (the Automatic camber option).
