Do one of the following to display the Command Macros palette:
On the ribbon, click View tab > Palettes panel > Command Macros.
Find
At the Command prompt, enter
commandmacros.
View Your Available Macro Insights
On the Command Macros palette, click the Insights tab.
All your available macros insights are listed.
Try the Command Macro Associated with a Macro Insight
Before you save a command macro for future use, it can be tried in the current drawing.
Note: It is recommended to save your current drawing or create a new drawing before trying a command macro.
On the Command Macros palette, Insights tab, do one of the following to try a command macro:
Click the Ellipsis [...] button and then choose Try.
Click on a command macro to expand it and then click Try.
Follow the displayed prompts and provide the expected input to complete the executed commands.
Save a Macro Insight as a Command Macro
Macro insights can be saved as command macros for use later.
On the Command Macros palette, Insights tab, do one of the following to save a command macro:
Click the Ellipsis [...] button and then choose Save.
Click on a command macro to expand it and then click Save.
Run a Saved Command Macro
A saved command macro can be used in the current drawing.
On the Command Macros palette, Saved tab, do one of the following:
Click a command macro
Right-click over a command macro and choose Run Macro
Edit a Saved Command Macro in the Command Macro Editor
The name, description, image and macro string of a saved command macro can be edited.
On the Command Macros palette, Saved tab, right-click over the command macro to edit and choose Command Macro Editor.
In the Command Macro Editor, do one or more of the following:
Edit the name or description of the command macro.
Click Specify to choose a new image for the custom macro.
Expand the Macro section and edit the macro string of the command macro to change the commands being executed along with the options and values provided to those commands.
