To Work with Drawing File Tabs

Float a File Tab

1. On the file tab bar, click and drag a drawing file tab.
2. Release the mouse button to place the floating file tab on a desired location.

Pin a File Tab

Do one of the following:

• On the title bar of the floating file tab, click the push pin .
• Select a floating file tab, right-click the title bar and choose Pin.

Unpin a File Tab

Do one of the following:

• On the title bar of the floating file tab, click the push pin .
• Select a floating file tab, right-click the title bar and choose Unpin.

Move a File Tab

Use this procedure to restore a drawing file tab to the file tab bar.

1. Right-click the title bar of a floating file tab.
2. Choose Move to File Tab.
