To Insert an Additional Drawing Border With Title Block (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

You can insert additional drawing borders at each state of your design. Objects in the drawing can be selected to be centered in the drawing border and rescaled depending on the selected or calculated scale factor.

1. Click Annotate tabSheet panelTitle Border. Find
2. In the Edit Drawing Border / Title Block dialog box
   • Select New Drawing Border/Title Block.
   • Click OK.
3. In the Drawing Borders with Title Block dialog box,
   • Title Block: Specify the title block from the list.
   • Paper Format: Specify the paper format.
   • Scale Factor: Set a scale factor.
   • Set Perform rescale.
   • Set Move Objects.
   • Click OK.
4. Click a point in the drawing to insert the drawing border.
5. In the Edit Attributes dialog box, edit or add entries.
6. Click OK.
7. Select objects to center and rescale within the inserted drawing border.
8. Move the selected objects to the desired place in the drawing border.
