Use this dialog box to define a linear distributed load acting on the shaft.
Dynamic Load Specifies that the load varies within known limits. |
Resultant tab Specifies the properties of the distributed load. |
Left Side Specifies that the magnitude of the load at the leftmost point of the distributed load. If Dynamic Load is selected, each box splits into two to enable you to specify the minimum and maximum loads separately. |
Right Side Specifies that the magnitude of the load at the rightmost point of the distributed load. If Dynamic Load is selected, each box splits into two to enable you to specify the minimum and maximum loads separately. |
Angle Gamma Specifies the angle between the z axis and the radius drawn to the point of application (see thumbnail displayed inside the dialog box). |
Components tab Specifies the properties of the distributed load by resolving the load into components along the y and z axes. |
Thumbnail Displays a thumbnail of the load applied to the shaft. |
Help Displays a thumbnail of an example, which illustrates the properties to specify. |
Current Displays a preview of the load you applied. |
