To Use a Layergroup as a Selection Set (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)
Note:
This procedure is illustrated by way of an example. In this example, we use AMLAYERGROUP to select objects on a layer for the MOVE command.
Click
Home tab
>
Layers panel
>
Layergroup Manager
.
Find
In the Layergroup Manager, right-click the layer group that contains the object you want to select and click Use as Selection Set.
Click Close.
Click OK.
Click
Home tab
Modify panel
Move
.
Find
When prompted to select objects enter P.
Note:
P represents the keyword Previous, which selects the objects that you previously selected with the AMLAYERGROUP command.
Press Enter to terminate object selection.
Click in the drawing area to indicate the base point for the move operation.
Click in the drawing area to specify where the base point must move to.
