To Copy a Layer Group (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. At the Command prompt, enter AMCOPYLG.
2. On the command line, enter the name of the layer group name you want to copy.
3. On the command line, enter a name for the layer group you want to copy to.
4. Specify the base point and the displacement point to place the objects.

Note: Entities residing in "frozen", "off", or "locked" layers cannot be included in the selection set.
