Assembly Drawing Detailing Dialog Box (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Use this dialog box to specify the details of the xref detail drawing to be created.

Xref Creation
	Selection by Layer Groups Sets the layer group whose objects are to be included in the xref you are creating. Enter the name of the layer, or click Input to select a layer group from the Layergroup Manager. You can also change the name of the xref.
	Selection by Objects Lets you manually select objects in the drawing that are to be included in the xref you are creating.
	Name of Xref Displays the name of the xref you are creating. The xref default name is the name of the current drawing; its first letter is replaced by the underscore character, “_”. If the name of the current drawing is eight or more characters long, the eighth character of the xref is replaced by a number. For example, if the name of the drawing is EXAMPLES, the default name for the xref becomes _XAMPLE0.
	Xref Path Sets the path for the folder where to save your xref file.
	Warning if Xref already Exists Issues a warning if an existing xref has the same file name.
	Annotations Invisible Inside assembly DWG Turns off and freezes dimensions and annotations in the assembly (master) drawing.
	Create with Fixed Scale Creates a component drawing with a fixed scale. You can enter a scale or select one from the list.
Component Drawing Creation
	Create with Fixed Paper Format Creates a component drawing with a fixed paper format. You can enter a format or select a format from the list.
	Create with Title Block Creates a component drawing with a title block. You can enter a title block or select a title block from the list.
	Component DWG Path Sets the path for the folder where you save your component drawing.
	Name of Component Drawing Displays the name of the component drawing you want to create. The default name is the name of the current drawing. If the name of the current drawing is eight or more characters long, the eighth character is replaced by a number. For example, if the name of the drawing is EXAMPLES, the default name for the component drawing becomes EXAMPLE0.
