- In the mechanical browser, right-click a blank area. A menu is displayed. Note: Xref components that are locked for editing in place are indicated by a red lock icon (
) - Select Purge All Locks. AutoCAD Mechanical toolset prompts you for confirmation.
- Click OK. The xref file is saved and the locks are released.
