To Move Objects on Standard Parts Layers to Working Layers (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. Click Home tabLayers panelMove to Working Layer. Find
2. Select all objects to be moved from the parts to the working layer.

Note: No visual feedback indicating that the operation completed successfully is evident. For example, objects on layer AM_2AN are to layer AM_2A. Since both layers have the same settings, there is no visual effect to show that the layer has changed. You can however inspect the properties of the object and verify that the layer has changed.
