To Edit a Detail View Label (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

You can edit the label of detail views created with the AMDETAIL command.

1. Double click the detail boundary of the detail view you want to edit. The detail dialog box appears.
2. In the Label content box, change the label.
3. Click OK.
4. If the default settings for detail views specify that the detail boundary must connect to the detail border with a leader:
   1. If the leader must contain bends, click in the drawing area to indicate the vertexes.
   2. Click anywhere inside the detail view.
