To Move a Detail View Identifier (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

You can change the position of the identifier on detail boundaries created with the AMDETAIL command.

1. Click the detail boundary to edit. Grips appear.
2. Drag the grip on the identifier to the new position.
