About Configuring Drawing Sheets (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

When you select a drafting standard for a drawing, the drawing sheet formats that correspond to the standard become available for selection in the AMTITLE command.

Drawing sheet formats consist of two individually configurable areas:

Each of these items exists as separate .dwg files, which you can customize. Usually, you do not modify the original files supplied with the product, but rather create a copy and modify that. Configure your system to use the modified files with the AMTITLE command.

Once you add the required drawing borders and title blocks, you may want to remove all other selections from the AMTITLE command.

Note: If you change the settings in the middle of a drawing session, they may not take effect if you already have a drawing border in the drawing area. To make the latest settings take effect, delete existing drawing borders and purge all blocks and then invoke the AMTITLE command.
