Parts List GOST Dialog Box (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Use this dialog box to view the parts list, rearrange the parts list, and export the parts list to Excel.

Toolbar buttons

 

Export the current parts list to an Excel file that adheres to GOST standard requirements.

 

Exports the current parts list to a temporary Excel file that adheres to GOST requirements, and opens it for preview.

 

Zooms to the object associated with the selected row.

If the selected row is associated with many instances of the object, the program prompts you to step through each instance, one by one. When you return to the Parts List dialog box, the program restores the drawing area to its original state.

 

Highlights the object associated with the selected row.

Creates a category header row and a non-editable blank row at the end of the parts list.

Deletes the selected row. If the row is a category header, the rows in that category are not automatically reassigned.

 

Moves the selected row one position up. If the row is a category row, the category row and all items in the category are moved up.

 

Moves the selected row one position down. If the row is a category row, the category row and all items in the category are moved down.

 

Displays the Change Category dialog box so that you can specify a new category. The selected row is moved to the new category.

 

Removes overrides from the current selection and restores their default values. This button is available only when overrides exist within the current selection.

 

Displays the Renumber Items dialog box that displays options to renumber all items in the part list.

 

Displays the Sort Items dialog box, providing various options to sort the items in the part list.

Formula bar

Displays an area below the toolbar (the formula bar), to enable you to enter and edit formulas. A check mark next to the menu item indicates that the formula bar is displayed.

Lines to skip after category

Add the specified number of empty rows after the category row. After the last row of each category.

 

Skip line after each part

Add one empty row after each part.

Parts list contents

Formula Bar

Provides space to enter and edit formulas.

The formula bar refers to the area directly below the toolbar and is visible only if you select Formula bar, in the Show/Hide drop-down.

   

Cancels edits made on the formula bar.

   

Saves the edits made on the formula bar.

   

Launches the expression builder, which assists you to create a formula.

 

List of parts and assemblies

Displays a list of BOM items shown in the parts list.

   

Format

User-defined component property.

   

Zone

Section on the drawing where the part is located.

   

Item

Item number associated with the part. Changing the item number updates the BOM and associated balloons.

   

Part Number

Note:

The part numbers for standard parts and features are derived from the standard content and adheres to GOST part number rules. the default value for other types of parts is the content of the NAME component property.

   

Description

A description of the part. Changing the description automatically updates the BOM.

   

Qty

Total number of the specific part. Changing the quantity automatically updates the BOM.

   

Comments

User-added comments about the part.

   

Expand Category

Click the plus sign to display the parts in the category.

   

Collapse Category

Click the minus sign to hide the parts in the category.

   

Balloon exists for part

Indicates whether a balloon is associated with the part.

Settings

Displays the Parts List Settings dialog box, enabling you to change the default parts list settings
