AMUSERHATCH (Command)

Fills an enclosed area with a user-defined hatch pattern.

Summary

With this command, you can also select from a set of predefined hatch patterns or use a custom hatch pattern.

The Hatch dialog box appears. You can set the type of hatch pattern.

Tip: To hatch a narrow rectangle, you would have to zoom into the rectangle to pick a point inside the rectangle. In this case the hatch command might fail, because the four lines composing the rectangle are not visible. To avoid this situation, select the four lines first and then zoom.

Additional boundary
Defines the area to hatch by selecting its boundaries.
Area to be hatched
Defines the area to hatch by selecting a point within an enclosed area.
Objects
Defines the area to hatch by selecting the object to hatch.
