Show Messages Dialog Box (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Use the Show Messages dialog box to control whether External File Editing and File Saving/Maintenance dialog boxes are displayed during the named operation.

The Show Messages dialog box is accessed from the AM:Preferences tab of the Options dialog box. It is not available in the Mechanical Desktop.

• Options that are not selected display a dialog box the first time the operation is performed. A message asks you to confirm whether you want to suppress the dialog box in future operations.
• Selected options suppress a dialog box. By default, options are not selected.
