Draws construction lines.

Summary

A dialog box enables you to select the type of construction line to draw.

The options displayed at the command prompt depend on the type of construction line you are creating.

List of Prompts

The following prompts are displayed.

Insertion point
Specifies a point through which the construction line is drawn.
Second point
Specifies the location of the construction line by specifying the second point through which the construction line is drawn.
Angle
Specifies the location of the construction line by specifying the angle the construction line makes with the X axis. You can draw multiple construction lines by specifying multiple angles separated by the "|" character.
Base angle
Creates a construction line with a relative angle from an existing line.
Relative angle
Specifies the location of a construction line by specifying a relative angle from the construction line created before. You can draw multiple construction lines by specifying multiple angles separated by the "|" character.
Select XLINE, RAY or LINE
Creates a construction line parallel to the line you select.
Distance
Draws a construction line at the specified distance from a point selected in a previous prompt. You can draw multiple construction lines by specifying multiple distances separated by the "|" character.
Side to offset
Specifies which side from the previously selected object the command draws the construction line.
Base point for perpendicular line
Draws a construction line through the point you select. The command draws the construction line perpendicular to a line that you selected in a previous prompt.
First line
Specifies the first of two lines required to draw a construction line that bisects the angle between the two lines
Second line
Specifies the second of two lines required to draw a construction line that bisects the angle between the two lines
Bi-section vertex
Specifies the vertex formed by two lines through which a construction line bisecting it is drawn.
