Factory Update Settings Tab Reference
Enables you to specify options for automatic recognition and notification if the LAYOUTDATA file contains changes made in other applications.
Access: 
Application menu > Options > Factory Update Settings tab.

| Auto-update the DWG file from the LAYOUTDATA file | Select this option to automatically update the DWG file to match the LAYOUTDATA file. |
| Tell me if the DWG file is out of date with the LAYOUTDATA file | Select this option to receive notifications when the DWG file is out of date with the LAYOUTDATA file. |
