A runner is a channel for plastic melt to flow from the sprue to the feed gates. A sketch of the runner is required to model the runner system.
The runner system consists of the main runner (primary runner), branch runner (secondary runner), and tertiary runner.
The sprue is included in the runner system. A secondary sprue (sprue runner) can be included in a three-plate mold.
You create a runner from a runner sketch, which you create manually or automatically.
