Click the left column next to the name of the layer. A “V” in the box means the layer is visible. |
Hide a layer during playback. |
Click the second column next to the name of the layer. A "P" in the box means that the layer is visible during playback. Turn off the "P" to hide the layer during playback. |
Change the wireframe color of all objects on a layer. |
Double click the layer in the Layer Editor. In the Edit Layer window, the Color drop-down list contains the Index and RGB options. Choose Index and click a color, or choose RGB, and then single or double-click the color box to pick a color from the Color Chooser. Use the RGB alpha channel to adjust the opacity of your objects. The value must be between 0.0 (fully transparent) and 1.0 (opaque). |
Cycle the layer’s display type between normal, reference, and template. |
Click the column next to the name of the layer to cycle through three values: A blank box means the objects in the layer are normal and can be selected. A “T” means the objects in the layer are templated: they are displayed in wireframe and can't be selected. An “R” means that the objects the layer is referenced: they can't be selected, but keep the current display mode. |
