Working with the menu search

Finding and running menu commands quickly without needing to navigate to where they are in the current menu

Note: The menu search is limited to the commands available in the current mode only. For example, while in the support editor, you cannot reach remeshing in Repair directly, but must open Repair first.

Accessing the menu search

• Choose Help > Search menu.
• Use the default keyboard shortcut S.

Using the menu search to find and execute a command

1. Select the text input field and start typing some part of a command's name in the current display language.
2. Double-click the search result.

Pinned commands in the menu search

Pinned commands are instantly available without searching, and are executed with a single click.

Pinning a search result

1. Find the desired menu command in the search result.
2. Click the pin icon next to the command.

Reordering pinned commands

1. Right-click a command to move.
2. Choose Move left or Move right, as available.

Unpinning a pinned command

• If the search result is still in the list, click its unpin icon.
• Otherwise, right-click the command in the row of pinned commands and choose Remove.
