To create an On-the-Fly Edge Group

Use an On-the-fly Edge Group to measure edges by using points selected at random during the inspection.

Note: On-the-fly Edge groups are available only when creating inspections for CNC and Manual machines.

To create an On-the-fly Edge Group:

1. Open the Definition level in the inspection sequence.
2. Click Form tab > Edges panel > On-the-Fly. The Inspection Group: Edge Points dialog is displayed.
3. Edit the group settings, and then click OK to close the dialog and create the group.
4. Play the group to probe the edge points.
