To invert surfaces

Use the Inverse Surface option to invert surfaces when they have been oriented incorrectly in the CAD model (this can be identified by highlighting back-facing surfaces). You can also use this option to control the side of the surface on which points are projected when importing a point cloud that includes no IJK vector information.

To invert the orientation of surfaces:

1. Select Home tab > Mouse Context panel > Surface Selector.
2. Select the surfaces you want to invert.
3. Right-click the CAD view, and select Inverse Surface from the context menu.
