The Dynamic Points tab displays the details of all dynamic points in the document. It contains the following data:
Name — The name of the point. Surface points are named DS 1, DS 2, and so on; edge points are named DE 1, DE 2, and so on.
X, Y, Z — The location of the point.
Cl. — The clearance direction of the probe. For example, if you are looking down the Z plane at the model when you create the point, the Cl. direction is Z+.
I, J, K — The surface normal of the point.
L Tol — The minimum tolerance for the point. For points created in PowerInspect, the tolerance defaults to -0.1; for imported points, the tolerance is imported with each point.
H Tol — The maximum tolerance for the point. For points created in PowerInspect, the tolerance defaults to 0.1; for imported points, the tolerance is imported with each point.
Offset — The offset of the point. For points created in PowerInspect, the offset defaults to 0; for imported points, the offset is imported with each point.
Surf.Off. — The offset for the model surface.
EdgeOff. — The offset for the model edge.
Type — The type of point.
Surface ID — The identifier of the surface (specified in the CAD model). For surface points, this is the identifier of the surface on which the point lies; for edge points, this is the identifier of the surface to which the edge belongs.
Edge — The name of the edge on which the point lies. For surface points, the field is blank.
